Fifth Annual Economic Outlook Conference

Albuquerque – January 13, 2010

The 5th Annual Economic Outlook Conference was held on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 from 7:30-11:30 am with hundreds of participants!

The event was a morning devoted to the very latest information concerning the United States and New Mexico economies. Recent history, current state, and future paths of each of these economies gives business owners and executives the best information available to plan for the coming year.

Featured speakers included Eugenio Aleman, Senior Economist with Wells Fargo; Larry Waldman, Ph.D with the University of New Mexico Bureau of Business and Economic Research (BBER); and featured speaker, Thomas Hoenig, President, Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.

The PNM Forecasting Award was also given at this event to those who saw into our future and at last year’s Economic Outlook Conference and predicated specific economic indicators during this past year.

The 2010 Economic Outlook Conference was brought to you through a partnership among the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, New Mexico Business Weekly, PNM Resources, University of New Mexico, UNM Bureau of Business and Economic Research, and Wells Fargo.
